In 2020, David Race wrote a book and wanted it published. After surveying a number of publishing companies and finding they all tried to pressure him into publishing deals that were mostly high-pressure tactics to sell him services he didn’t want or need, he decided to go into the publishing business to provide services that aspiring authors needed and none of those they didn't, for a price that would actually allow them to concentrate on their published work without having to worry about all the high-pressure nonsense he had experienced.
